UN and Red Cross Complain -- Israel-Gaza War

by RKNews last modified 2009-01-15 21:30

The UN and the Red Cross were quick to yowl about the damage to their buildings and cars. They certainly couldn't complain to Hamas about using them for cover to fire on Israel, of course.

UN and Red Cross Complain -- Israel-Gaza War

Gaza Booby Trapped Neighborhood

While this specific incident will be THOROUGHLY investigated by the IDF and undoubtedly by other 'experts', the following holds true for everytime terrorists attack -- whether in Israel, Africa, Europe or the US. It's part of the strategy of terror to fight the propaganda war simultaneously with the real war.  So far, the accuracy of Israel's return fire has been very high.

The important point to be made is that international law allows Israel to return fire at any location, building or vehicle used to fire on Israeli soldiers or civilians.  This is not news to UN or Red Cross functionaries, but for the sake of propaganda, they make sure all the world's media hears of Israel's lack of concern for the "humanitarian" agencies as well as for media personnel!  There's not an honest man among them. For years (since at least the time of Arafat) these agencies have needed to clean up their act or put up with the result.  May the world rightly ignore the rushed and fawning apology by Israel's current Defense Minister. He will pay at the polls for his willingness to paint the IDF soldiers as guilty. He is sullying their names before the world when they are risking their lives to protect both themselves and Israeli civilians WHO ARE ALSO STILL UNDER FIRE.

There was fire also from the media building and thus Israel returned fire on that building as well.  In continuance of the early morning massive firing on Israel cities by Hamas, this afternoon in Beer Sheva, a 7-year old boy suffered a severe head injury from a Grad missile loaded with shrapnel.  It would be interesting to see if the world media and internet bloggers would show pictures of this small boy alongside those of the injured Gaza children, but mercifully Israel will not allow him to be exposed to the world while his life is in danger.

There are many others who have been severely injured over the 8 years, for instance one little boy who had to have his leg amputated. And this doesn't include hundreds of injuries and dealths resulting from terror attacks over the years in and near Gaza before Sharon's one-sided removal and destruction of Jewish towns and industry in his clearly vain hope for peace!

It should be clear that Israel has done everything possible to avoid civilian casualties and still conduct a defensive war against Hamas in Gaza which will end the terror.  An IDF real-time video demonstrates an actual diversion of a missile fired at terrorists when it became clear that a large number of civilians were coming into range. Israeli civilians may yet suffer from the failure to kill those operatives.

The current operations inside of Gaza City are an attempt to cut the head from the snake. There has been some success, but unfortunately this snake has many heads, one of the main ones in Damascus and the most powerful one not yet within reach in Tehran.
